useful websites

Since my posts are probably read only by KJO student, I decided to recommend the websites that might be useful for future teachers:) The first website that is worth mentioning is http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids.htm. It offers a wide range of involving and enjoyable activities for children and -most importantly- they are all for free. Particularly, I like 'listen up games', where children at the same time can listen and play a game.  The website is divided according to topics, e.g. pirates, bugs, fantasy animals:). A teacher or students can choose the topic they like best and find links to games, songs, stories and lots of varied activities. Another website that can be a useful resource for teaching children is http://www.esl-kids.com. It allowes a teacher to create his/her own activities using words and pictures from different themes. Moreover, you can find there
a huge collection of printable flashcards, songs, games, etc.
Recently, I wanted to make a lesson based on a movie. Therefore, I decided to search for the scripts. And I encountered quite a nice website: http://www.joblo.com/moviescripts.htm. It contains a great collection of them.

My first experience with a computer...

Well, I don't remember it very well as it definately wasn't a very significant moment in my life:) However, I suppose I got my first computer about 10 years ago. I had to share it with my two sisters. For about the first five years I wasn't really interested in using it, but everything has changed when I started to have an access to the Internet:) Since then, I've been using the computer very often and now obviously I can't imagine my life without it;)
